The Adopt-a-Wilderness Program is a new volunteeer opportunity with the Utah Chapter of the Sierra Club that enables activists to personally adopt and protect proposed wilderness units of the Citizens’ Proposal to Protect America’s Red Rock Wilderness. Wilderness Adopters will be the Utah Chapter’s wilderness representative activists for their selected units. The Sierra Club is a volunteer-run organization and therefore, a wilderness adopter is not just helping the Sierra Club, but is part of the organization.
